Mr. Janzen was my first martial arts instructor when I was a kid, and his teaching had a positive impact on my life.
I went from being a shy, and unconfident kid to growing into a more confident individual and eventually becoming an Instructor, Also I had the honour of helping co-found EMA.
I firmly believe in the positive impact martial arts can have on anyone, but as a child martial arts training helped provide me with a positive outlet to push myself and helped form me to who I am today. Martial arts training teaches more then martial arts, it teaches life skills to help form people into a better version of themselves.

I trained with Mr. Bryan Janzen for five years at his Coquitlam location. I would travel from North Vancouver to Coquitlam to train at his school. The reason why I did this is because Mr. Janzen has a unique ability to make people feel heard and important. An absolute 5 stars for experience and level of instruction. Bryan is incredible with children and great with adults. I’ll absolutely recommend his school to properly train and take care of your kids in his class.
